Pickups

Tier 1:
Any community - 4 pickups

AA:
Any community - 4 pickups

Pickup Process

All Tier 1 pickups are made first, followed by all Tier 2 pickups, and then all Tier 3 pickups.

We would not expect many (or possibly any) pickups at 13u or 15u Tier 1 - given that those top tier teams are made up of both major & minor age players from those age groups (and not the major-minor system we used to run).

Teams qualifying for provincials should try to sort out their pickups with 48-72 hours of qualifying. As in the past, pickup needs to be communicated to the league president to pass along to Baseball MB.

2024 Prospects Tournament

The 11u and 13u Prospects Tournaments are happening in Portage from July 26th-28th.

SC has not yet been informed on how many teams we will be allocated at each level. For the time being, please register your player for prospects by emailing Chris Manning (wjcmanning@gmail.com). Further information will be passed along once we know the number of teams at both 11u and 13u SC can send.
